Saunders, Edward Kenneth “Ken”

It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Kenneth “Ken” Saunders at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on 16 January 2018 at the age of 89. Dearly loved husband and companion of Glenna Saunders for over 60 years. Father of Susan (Jim) of St. Williams, Ted (Rebecca) and Patti of North Bay. Cherished grandpa to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who meant the world to him. Brother to Kay Bowden of Barrie. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Martha Saunders, his sister Georgina, and daughter Sandra. He will also be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. He thanked God for is 89 years and being blessed with a wonderful family. Dad was a well-respected contractor in North Bay for over 60 years and wished to thank his many clients for being so good to him throughout his career. As per his wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, Dad had requested donations to Sick Kids. His family wishes to thank the entire staff of A3 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care, compassion and support during his brief illness.
